Hey Lions! ASB will be hosting another way for you to earn community service! As we continue into winter, the colder it is. With dozens of people living on the streets without any home to return to for warmth and food to eat, a local church by the name of St. Columba has been going yearly to downtown and giving the homeless food and socks. As a way to help the community and the homeless, ASB is teaming up with St. Columba to get more food and socks to the homeless. Below are some items that you can donate and the amount of hours you get by donating them:
Bread - 1 hour per bag
Peanut butter - 1 hour per jar
Jelly - 1 hour per jar
Snack food items - 2 hour per box of item
Granola bars
Fruit snacks
Chips
Etc.
Toiletries - 1 hour per item
Toothpaste
Bar soap
Deodorant
Etc.
Paper bags - 1 hour per 5 bags
Socks (men, women and children) - 1 hour per 2 pair of socks
